What does it actually check?
Each affiliate link on the page is followed through every redirect to the final landing page. We confirm the destination resolves, that the merchant program looks active, and that tracking parameters survive the redirect chain.

Why do healthy-looking links sometimes earn nothing?
A 200 OK response only proves the URL loads. It does not prove the merchant program is live, that your tracking ID survived, or that the landing page is the one you intended. We test for all three.
Can I check links behind a login or paywall?
No. The free scanner only sees what an unauthenticated visitor sees. For protected pages, use the dashboard with an authenticated crawler add-on.
